USS Constitution Museum Sailor's Valentine Box Making and Exhibit Tour | 2/7/26

In the 19^th century, American sailors and Marines in Barbados flocked to buy scrap wood boxes that local women artistically arranged with indigenous shells and dried plants to bring home to lovers, family, and friends. Join us at USSCM to carry on this folk-art tradition by making your very own Sailor's Valentine to bring home! There will also be supplies for writing Valentine’s Cards for current service members and veterans (not to bring home).

Home Base attendees will also be free to join our special "Anatomy of Victory" historic tour through our exhibits for a special taste of the Museum. This event is best suited for teen and adult groups.
